Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho has been advised to ask for a pay-rise ten times his current earning at the Etihad Stadium.
According to the Mirror, the wonderkid is keen on a weekly wage of £150,000, which is an eye-catching leap from his current deal of £15,000.
The
striker is understood to have been advised by his representatives that
he has earned a contract at least equal to that of Raheem Sterling, the
England international who moved to Manchester from Liverpool in a
headline-making transfer last summer.

Certainly,
while Iheanacho’s demanded wage increase is significant, he certainly
merits an improvement on his current deal, with the Citizens understood
to be planning to reward him for a fine campaign.
Iheanacho shone in pre-season for the Sky Blues, and has gone on to become a sensation for City.
He
has scored seven goals in 25 EPL showings—of which only six have been
starts—and has also scored a further six goals in the domestic cups.
During
the course of the campaign, he has displaced Wilfried Bony as the
club’s backup option to Sergio Aguero, with the Ivorian frontman having
only managed four league goals this term.
