Antonio Conte will not entertain the idea of selling Willian to Manchester United but the Chelsea head coach is willing to let fellow Brazil international Oscar leave this summer.
Juventus
are the frontrunners to sign Oscar, with Conte prepared to hand Juan
Cuadrado another chance in the Premier League following his successful
season-long loan in Turin.
Conte
will take over after Euro 2016 and knows it would not go down well with
fans if he allowed Chelsea’s Player of the Year award winner, Willian,
to join a rival club.
The Italian will not sign off on the transfer, with Sportsmail told Willian’s move to Manchester is a ‘total no-go’ due to Conte and Chelsea’s reluctance.
Jose Mourinho is a fan and could try to test them with an offer, but would struggle to sign the Brazilian.
That
is despite Willian having not yet been awarded for his fine form this
season with an improved deal, as the 27-year-old is currently paid about
£80,000 per week.
Oscar, his
Brazil team-mate, is wanted by Juventus and could be sold after falling
in and out of the first team under Mourinho and Chelsea interim-manager
Guus Hiddink.
Though Chelsea want to keep Willian, they are understood to be open to offers for Oscar, 24.
Another Brazilian who is set to be let go is Alexandre Pato.
The
26-year-old striker’s uninspiring season ended with just two appearances
and his loan spell from Corinthians is unlikely to be extended or made
permanent.
Diego Costa, the Brazil-born striker, is also wanted by Atletico Madrid, who sold him to Chelsea for £32million in 2014.
The
Brazilian inner circle at Chelsea are a close-knit group and this will
be a delicate situation for Conte to sort when he arrives after Euro
2016.
