The Mirror believe they know the exact details of Jose Mourinho‘s contract at Manchester United and the extent to which the Portuguese coach will be backed in the transfer market by his new employers.
The
tabloid report that the incoming boss—who appears set to replace Louis
van Gaal this summer even thought the Dutchman won the FA Cup at the
weekend—will put pen to paper on a three-year deal worth an eye-watering
£30 million.
The faith that United are showing in their personal
offer to the coach is reflected in the backing they’re offering him in
the transfer market.
According to the tabloid, the Red Devils’
hierarchy are set to offer Mourinho a £200 million transfer warchest in
order to overhaul the United squad.
However,
while the prospect of playing for one of the world’s biggest club will
appeal to players—and the side’s financial clout will appeal to agents
and clubs—it remains to be seen whether the world’s greatest players
will hesitate in signing for United considering they can’t offer
Champions League football next season.
